                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF 12TH AVENUE MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   SEPTEMBER 8, 1990 FOR THE PRESENTATION OF
                   "EAST LAKE BAPTIST CHURCH BLOCK PARTY" UNDER
                   THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE EAST LAKE BAPTIST
                   CHURCH UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                      
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of 12th Avenue between 33rd Street and 34th
       Street on Saturday, September 8, 1990 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

       for the "East Lake Baptist Church Block Party" under the
       sponsorship of the East Lake Baptist Church provided that the
       sponsor shall set out flasher barricades, road closed and detour
       signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto 

       and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for fire and 
other
       emergency vehicles.
